Origami Talking Fish ASMR | Relaxing Paper Folding Sounds | Toya Pham
Hello art lovers, origami enthusiasts, ASMR fans, and everyone in between!

This week’s origami creation is a playful one, the Origami Talking Fish. If you’ve never seen this model before, it’s a classic origami design that opens and closes like a little puppet. When you press the folds together, the fish “talks,” which makes it surprisingly expressive for such a simple piece of paper.

For this ASMR video, I focused on the gentle sounds of folding and shaping paper, along with those nice sharp crease sounds made by my wooden folding knife. The crisp creases and rhythmic movements create a relaxing paper folding experience that I always find calming, both visually and audibly. Origami has a way of slowing things down and bringing your attention to the small details, the angle of a fold, the texture of the paper, and the quiet repetition of each step.

I’ll admit I did have a little fun toward the end… let’s just say one of the fish gets a little too hungry. I couldn’t help myself. I mean, they’re basically finger puppets, you have to have a little fun with finger puppets. It also gave me the opportunity to add some playful mukbang style crunchy sound effects that I think you’ll enjoy.

If you enjoy origami ASMR, relaxing paper folding sounds, and playful paper art, I hope this little talking fish brings a smile to your day.
