Meet the Artist

Toya Pham, Origami and Mixed Media Artist

My name is Toya, and I’m the creator behind Origami & Earrings. I’m a mother, wife, and origami artist, creating sculptural paper art and handmade origami jewelry that moves between gallery spaces and everyday wear. I hold a BA in Digital Technology and Culture with a minor in Fine Arts, and my biracial background often inspires the stories and cultural touches woven into my work.

I first began making jewelry in 2020, gifting pieces to friends and family. I always tucked an origami animal or card inside their packages, and during quarantine I naturally began combining paper art and jewelry into one practice. That blend became the foundation of my style and the heart of my brand.

Personally, I'm a bit of an introvert but like to loudly express my inner thoughts and emotions through art, fashion and jewelry. These can all be used to capture the eye and excite the mind. I believe origami is both adornment and fine art. Something that can enhance your own beauty, tell a story, and live just as comfortably in a gallery as it does on a pair of earrings.

My vision is to continue creating work that highlight's your personality and elevates your uniqueness. Honestly, if my art can help someone feel seen, confident, or inspired, then I’m exactly where I want to be
